A cement clinker transportation line stretching 22.33 kilometers, the longest in China, gallops on the land of Wu –Yue Area. Recently, the equipment successfully passed the scientific and technological achievement evaluation organized by the Science and Technology Achievement Evaluation Center of China Science and Technology Cooperation (Beijing), which marks a breakthrough in the ultra-long distance high-temperature bulk material conveying equipment technology has been monopolized by developed countries. Zhejiang Changxing and Anhui Guangde are the most important cement clinker production bases in the south of Shanghai. They are rich in limestone, sand shale and other mineral resources and have a number of clinker production enterprises. Due to the limitation of natural environment and geographical conditions, the output of cement clinker and cement products need to be transported by truck for short distance and transferred to Huzhou Southern Logistics Co., Ltd. wharf in Changxing Xiaopu for transit, and then shipped to Huzhou, Jiaxing, Ningbo, Shanghai and other markets.

Before the completion of this transportation line, many cement enterprises annually about 12 million tons of cement clinker on the local roads by relying on short distance transportation vehicles. Because this transportation line is very important to the economic development of the Yangtze River Delta region, the transportation volume is very large, and the long-term use of the road resulting in mottled and dilapidated. In sunny days, dust covers the sky, and mud splashes all over the sky after rain. There are many road traffic safety risks, and the pressure of environmental damage is huge. Local residents have a strong reaction. The solution to this problem is to find a way to avoid the environmental damage caused by the transport of cement products. This conveying equipment, built in cooperation with Huzhou Nanfang Logistics Co., Ltd., is a complete set of belt conveying equipment with the largest comprehensive parameters, the most complex working conditions and the most technical difficulty independently designed, manufactured and tested by China at present. There are altogether 21 belt conveyors with a total length of 22.331km and an annual conveying capacity of 10.5 million tons, among which the longest single machine distance is 11.75km, the highest belt speed is 4m/s, the maximum transport capacity is 3000t/h, and the highest material temperature is 175℃. It is the largest belt conveyors operating in the world for conveying high-temperature materials at present. Through the cooperation with NHI, Huzhou Southern Logistics Co., Ltd successfully created the first all-electric transportation, all-electric storage, all-electric loading and unloading, all-electric mooring ship "all-electric logistics" mode to achieve the whole "zero emission" transportation system. The longest cement clinker "air transportation walkway" in China can reduce the number of transportation vehicles to 2,400 trips a day and save 2,026 tons of fuel a year, contributing to China's "carbon peak" goal. The complete set of belt conveyor equipment with high temperature resistance and large volume and long distance, which solved the clinker transportation problem for enterprises in the south of Huaikan and Baixian in Changxing, achieved good economic, environmental and social benefits, which was praised by local government departments and surrounding residents.
